Hell, you even need to be careful if bow on, she can eat good damage from there, as LWM warns in her review. You REALLY, REALLY need to be paranoid about her sides though. Yet these guns are temperamental, and the shells are unreliable, and that's why after spending most of Friday playing the ship, I'm really not feeling very enthusiastic about it anymore. Hell, my second game in the ship was my third ever Kraken. I had an enemy Nagato at 80% health decide that sailing broadside to me at 9km was a good idea, and I erased him in two salvos. Yes, the guns have the potential to work beautifully. For me it's a huge buzzkill and a big source of frustration. After three or four consistent salvos where my aim is good, but my shells just don't want to function, I find myself wanting to move on to another ship. More than any ship that I've played, Cesare has a tendency to straddle targets with salvos, and more frustratingly, penetrate for no damage. I love this, it's like a tier 5 Dunkerque. Couldn't disagree more there honestly, I've started getting in the 70k-90k damage range fairly regularly and I've only just the past game or two started actually experimenting with the AP.
